About Daniela
Daniela Jannette (MS, RD, LD) has been a practicing registered dietitian for the past six years, focusing on renal disease, pre-diabetes/diabetes, cancer, weight management and sports nutrition. She used to work as a clinical dietitian, utilizing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) in her practice, and has now been providing Telehealth counseling to patients with a variety of disease states for the last three years. Daniela believes that food is meant to be enjoyed, but also can make a significant impact on overall health.
Approach to care
Daniela is passionate about health and wellness, focusing on both the mind and body in order to prevent chronic disease. She utilizes an intensive, comprehensive, and individualized approach to nutrition counseling and focuses on lifestyle changes that are sustainable. Her recommendations are grounded in scientific evidence and are focused on compassion, motivation, and mindfulness.
Your first session with Daniela
Daniela enjoys fostering partnerships with her patients in order to help their overall health and wellbeing. During your first session, Daniela will take the time to learn about your nutrition goals, medical history, what you have tried in the past, what has worked and what has not, and what has been a challenge. She will provide insight on the next steps based on the information you provide. Together, you both will determine realistic short-term goals to work on before your next session.
