About Jessica
Hi! My name is Jessica Genel-Palavicini. I was born in San Diego, California, but I grew up in Tijuana, Mexico. Traveling opened up my mind to different ways of thinking and traditions regarding food. I chose to become a Registered Dietitian because I was interested in the healing power of food. I studied a Bachelorās in Nutrition in the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. I completed a Masterās in Human Nutrition and obtained a Registered Dietitian certification from McGill University. I have always been passionate about Bariatric Surgery, so I completed my Bariatric Counseling Certification. Today, I help individuals reach their health goals through nutritional consultations.
Approach to care
I love working with and for people. I am very passionate about nutrition counseling. My practice is a judgment-free space where individuals can be understood and be themselves. Finding motivation, nutrition education, relief and above all, health. I am very excited to work with you and support you in reaching your goals.
Your first session with Jessica
On our first session I want to get to know you and start building a trusting relationship. I will complete my initial nutrition assessment. My practice is very individualized. I want to get to know your medical history, lifestyle, routine, food preferences and interests. Based on your own experiences and needs we will start working together on your health goals.
