Patient reviews

  • I wish I could articulate my five star rating review as beautifully as Leah has articulated the guidance and support in my nutrition and wellness journey after three pregnancies (two of which were with twin pregnancies). She is a wonderful coach who listens so well and voices back what she hears to ensure she has heard correctly before instruction and goal-setting. Leah has taught and encoruaged me in BIG ways. I am so grateful to have found her and NOURISH to support me back to my body and mind

  • I’ve been working with Leah for the past 6 months, and I am pleased to see my progress. She provides meaninful insight into the different variables that may effect my relationship with food, which has resulted in improved lab vaues, better sleep, and an overall improvement in my general wellness. I am optimistic that my continued work with her will lead to sustainable changes in my overall health and wellbeing.

  • Leah has been wonderful so far and i’m really appreciative of her support. She has helped me with more than just meal ideas or protein shake suggestions which is what my prior experience has been. She truly listens and takes a proactive approach to supporting her patients. She helps me resolve the root issue of my struggles and meets me where i’m at. I am very thankful to have started Nourish and to be working with Leah. I am hopeful i will make good progress this year with her support!

About Leah

Hi, I’m Leah — a registered dietitian who helps sensitive, overwhelmed, or exhausted individuals rebuild a calmer and more confident relationship with food. Many patients come to me feeling frustrated by digestive issues, sensory overload, irregular eating, or chronic stress. We work together to make nutrition feel steadier and more supportive, especially if you feel everything deeply or have struggled to “figure out food” on your own. I specialize in IBS, bloating, constipation, neurodivergent-friendly nutrition, ARFID-like patterns, POTS, hormonal health, PCOS, and fertility. My approach is warm, validating, and structured, blending evidence-based guidance with realistic steps that truly fit your life.

Approach to care

My approach is calm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I don’t rely on strict rules or rigid plans. Instead, we focus on what feels manageable and supportive for you. You can expect gentle step-by-step guidance, trauma-sensitive and neurodivergent-aware care, evidence-based support for digestive and hormonal concerns, and a non-diet, weight-inclusive philosophy. I also integrate simple tools for nervous system regulation and mindful eating. My goal is for you to feel at ease in your body and confident in the habits we create together.

Your first session with Leah

Your first session is spacious and supportive. We’ll take time to understand your symptoms, daily rhythms, stressors, medical history, and what you want to feel in your body again. Together, we’ll explore your health and nutrition story, identify key challenges and patterns, review digestive, hormonal, or sensory symptoms, and create a personalized plan for the week ahead. We’ll also set gentle, attainable goals that feel realistic for your life. My intention is for you to finish with clarity, direction, and a sense of relief, knowing you don’t have to figure this out alone. Most patients meet with me weekly in the beginning so we can build momentum and see meaningful changes together.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I’m enjoying a season of settling and rooting after a period of travel. I love spending time in walkable neighborhoods, exploring local green spaces, and lingering in quiet cafés or independent bookstores. I’m deeply nourished by art, music, and meaningful conversation, and I’m currently in a creative season of writing regularly, recording my podcast, and cultivating community spaces that support sensitive and neurodivergent folks through my business The Nourished Sensitive. Time in nature, gentle rhythms, and simple daily rituals help keep me grounded and bring clarity, presence, and warmth to my work with patients and in the communities I serve.
