About Leah

Hello, I’m Leah, a holistic registered dietitian-nutritionist and certified as a Mind-Body Eating & Health Coach. I believe your relationship with food is a powerful teacher, and I help you discover what truly nourishes you without rigid rules or quick fixes. I support neurodivergent and highly sensitive individuals, including those navigating ARFID, POTS, sensory sensitivities, and disordered eating. I also work with women seeking guidance for hormonal balance, fertility, PCOS, and general women's health. My approach is trauma-sensitive and person-centered. I combine intuitive and mindful eating, somatic practices, and holistic nutrition principles to help you build sustainable habits and find ease with food and body. Clients often describe my style as compassionate, grounding, and empowering. In our first session, we’ll explore your story, health history, and goals. You’ll leave with guidance, a clear direction, and the feeling of being supported.

Approach to care

My approach to nutrition is rooted in empathy and empowerment. I help you find balance in your health and feel at home in your body without rigid meal plans, tracking, or restrictive diets. Instead, we focus on healing your relationship with food, breaking free from weight struggles, and building sustainable habits through evidence-based nutrition and holistic wellness. I work best with those who want to break free from dieting and nourish their body sustainably, prefer a non-diet, weight-neutral approach without guilt or restriction, value holistic wellness and mindfulness in their health journey, need simple and practical meal-planning skills for stress-free eating, and are seeking a compassionate, trauma-sensitive, neurodivergent-friendly practitioner. If this resonates with you, I would love to support your journey to a healthier, more empowered relationship with food and body.

Your first session with Leah

Your first session is all about making you feel welcome, supported, and understood. We’ll spend about 60 minutes getting to know each other, discussing your health goals, and setting the foundation for our work together. I’ll conduct a comprehensive health assessment, exploring your medical history, lifestyle, and eating habits. From there, we’ll set realistic goals and create a personalized plan that includes nutrition guidance, lifestyle adjustments, and holistic wellness practices. My goal is for you to leave feeling empowered, clear on your next steps, and ready to nourish yourself with more confidence.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of New Hampshire, Master of Science in Nutrition from Cox College.

Hobbies

In my free time, I connect deeply with the natural world—whether hiking in the woods and mountains, walking the neighborhood or exploring the gardens. I currently live nomadically as a remote dietitian, traveling solo to new places and following where God leads me. My days often bring me into the homes of others through house and pet sitting, which allows me to experience different rhythms of life. I love seeking out concerts and shows from my favorite artists, and I find joy in creating my own art through writing, music, and collage. Alongside this, I facilitate sanctuary through my online community, @the.nourished.sensitive, centering holistic health, wellness, and spiritual healing for sensitive neurodivergent folks.
