About Michelle

I am committed to living a healthy and balanced lifestyle; body, mind, and spirit. I believe in taking small steps to achieve the larger goal. I encourage progress, not perfection. I take a mindful approach to diet and include a variety of foods from all food groups. I enjoy creating healthy recipes using whole unprocessed ingredients. I will meet you where you are at, considering your lifestyle, schedule, and health needs. I will be your accountability partner and help guide you through your health journey so you can achieve your personal goals.

Approach to care

As a Registered Dietitian, I provide personalized nutrition guidance to help you reach your goals—whether that’s weight loss, weight gain, weight neutral, or managing a specific health condition. I specialize in evidence-based nutrition support for diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and other chronic conditions, with a focus on helping you feel your best through realistic, sustainable changes.

Your first session with Michelle

At your first session I will review your current diet habits, food preferences and restrictions, medical history, lab data, and physical activity. I will evaluate your height, weight, and BMI. Based on your specific needs I will review macronutrients, micronutrients, meal patterns, portion control, and reading food labels. We will identify any potential barriers to healthy eating and discuss strategies to overcome them. An individualized meal plan with corresponding handouts will be provided. A exercise plan will be initiated based on your level of fitness. Specific goals will be created. I will summarize key points discussed during the session, and address any questions.
