About Sara
I became a dietitian because I have a passion for food, enjoy discussing nutrition, love learning about it, and am dedicated to sharing my knowledge to improve others' lives. I have had the privilege to work with in many different areas, but I have spent the most amount of time in the area of diabetes management. I also have personal experience and graduate level training in sports nutrition.
Approach to care
My approach to care is individual centered. Food is personal and any care plan has to fit with your life to be successful. I am here to be a coach and educator to work with you on your goals.
Your first session with Sara
The first session will begin with discussion that let's me get to know you, your goals, and current lifestyle. I will provide any education that you may be interested in and work with you to set 1-2 initial goals. In setting these goals, we will also talk through strategies for implementing these changes.
