About Valerie
I am a Registered Dietitian specializing in women's health encompassing areas like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), fertility, prenatal/postpartum, peri/menopause, high cholesterol and more. With my knowledge and expertise, I will help you increase energy, tackle cravings, optimize gut health, improve your labs and *nourish* a better relationship with food. Not confident with your food choices? No worries, I will help you to be more confident in your food choices so you can thrive every day. I know how hard it can be to do this on your own. I am here to support you on your health journey! I will be your biggest cheerleader. Let's do this together.
Approach to care
I use a patient-centered approach to make sure my support aligns with and fulfills your needs. When interacting with each patient, I prioritize empathy and a holistic perspective on health and well-being. I strongly believe that health goes beyond just dietary choices. In terms of nutrition, I promote a balanced, sustainable, and realistic approach. Understanding your individual journey and finding the best ways to support you on the path to improved health is something I highly value
Your first session with Valerie
During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you better! I am dedicated to understanding what matters most to you and identifying areas where you need my support as your dietitian. We'll discuss your health history, including recent labs, allergies/intolerances, any medical conditions, and more. A detailed dietary recall will also be part of our discussion to learn more about your typical eating routine and set achievable goals. I tend to be quite chatty, so be prepared for numerous follow-up questions (all for your benefit!). I'm here to provide motivation and support on your journey!
