About Abby

I live a quiet, simple life in a small town in Minnesota with my boyfriend Shane, our sweet Newfoundland-poodle mix Ella, and our cat Earl. Life here is slow and intentional—just the way I like it. You can often find me baking sourdough bread, hiking through the nearby state parks, or spending quality time with family and friends. At the heart of everything I do is a deep passion for helping others. That passion led me to pursue a career in dietetics, where I’ve found incredible fulfillment in building meaningful, lasting relationships with my clients. Whether it's guiding someone on their wellness journey or just being a consistent, supportive presence in their life, I truly believe that small, caring connections can make the biggest impact.

Approach to care

As a Registered Dietitian, my approach to care is rooted in compassion, connection, and simplicity. I believe that nutrition support should feel personal and empowering—not overwhelming. I take the time to truly listen to each client’s story, values, and goals so we can create a sustainable plan together that fits their unique lifestyle. Whether we're addressing chronic conditions, navigating food relationships, or building healthier habits, I aim to make every session feel like a supportive conversation rather than a clinical appointment. My goal is to be a steady, encouraging presence on their journey—not just a provider, but a partner in their long-term well-being.

Your first session with Abby

During our first session together, my goal is to get to know you—not just your health history, but who you are as a whole person. We’ll take time to talk through your goals, daily routines, eating habits, lifestyle, and any challenges you’ve been facing. I’ll ask questions to better understand your medical background and what brought you to seek nutrition support, but the conversation will feel relaxed and collaborative. Together, we’ll begin building a plan that’s realistic, personalized, and rooted in your values. This session sets the foundation for a strong, trusting relationship—one where you feel heard, supported, and empowered from the start.
