About Abby

Hi friend! I’ve been a Registered Dietitian for nearly 20 years and have worked across a variety of settings. I consider myself a generalist—I love the variety nutrition offers! I’m currently in the peri-menopause/menopause life stage, so I have a special interest in supporting women through this life change. I also work with clients on GLP-1 medications like Ozempic or Wegovy, helping them manage the unique nutrition challenges that come with it. My first stop before becoming a Dietitian was culinary school—I believe food should be joyful, not stressful! I love helping clients with meal planning, pantry makeovers, and food sensitivities. I'm also passionate about supporting women healing from Betrayal Trauma, where trauma often shows up physically—through appetite changes, weight shifts, sleep disruption, or body image struggles. I aim to create a safe, compassionate space where we can work toward your goals—together.

Approach to care

My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and real-life practicality. I believe you are the expert of your own body, and I’m here to support you with evidence-based guidance that fits your unique goals, preferences, and lifestyle. I don’t promote one-size-fits-all plans, fads, food rules, or guilt-based approaches. Instead, I focus on sustainable, personalized care—whether you’re navigating a health condition, managing medications like GLP-1s, healing from trauma, or just trying to do better and feel better in your day-to-day life. My hope is that you walk away from each session feeling heard, supported, and empowered—with practical tools and a sense of positive progress. I want our time together to feel like a conversation, not a lecture, and for you to leave feeling more connected, confident, and cared for as we work toward your goals. I have a weight neutral approach and believe in prioritizing wellness over weigh loss.
