About Abby

Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a registered dietitian with nearly four years of experience in both performance and clinical nutrition. I earned my bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Kent State University and my master’s degree in exercise physiology, with a concentration in sports nutrition, from Florida State University. I’ve worked in sports nutrition through Major League Baseball and at a Division I college, as well as in acute care hospitals caring for oncology and ICU patients. My experience across sports nutrition and acute care gives me a well-rounded perspective that helps me support a wide range of goals and needs.

Approach to care

My approach is evidence-based and rooted in science, but always focused on turning research into realistic, everyday habits. I’m warm, empathetic, and judgment-free, while also being direct and action-oriented. I’ll help you set clear goals, create manageable steps, and stay accountable without feeling overwhelmed. I focus on sustainable behavior change—not quick fixes or diet culture—and take a holistic view that considers sleep, stress, movement, mood, and what matters most to you. Together, we’ll build a plan that truly fits your life and goals.

Your first session with Abby

Our first session is all about you. We’ll talk through your medical history, lifestyle, and relationship with food, and explore your goals and what success looks like for you. Together, we’ll set a few short-term goals that feel realistic and identify clear, manageable steps to get started. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet—this is a collaborative conversation where you’re heard and supported. You’ll leave with a clear direction, practical next steps, and the confidence of knowing you have a partner to support you as you work toward lasting change.
