About Abby
Hi, I'm Abby and I've been a registered dietitian for over 10 years with experience in hospital and clinic settings. I have spent the last 7 years doing nutrition counseling in a variety of settings including weight management, bariatric surgery, pre-natal, post-natal, diabetes of all types, and cardiovascular disease. I live in southeast Minnesota with my husband, 3 young daughters and our senior German Shepherd dog. I have a passion for helping people improve their health through nutrition.
Approach to care
I focus on small, realistic changes to make lasting improvements in your health versus strict diet rules. I believe all foods can fit into a healthy balanced diet. I find accountability to be essential for people starting to make lifestyle changes, and I am here to be your accountability partner.
Your first session with Abby
During your first session I like to learn about past dieting experiences and what you're looking to gain from an appointment with me. I will review your daily/weekly habits so we can work together to make sustainable changes to your health and nutrition goals.
