About Abigail

Hi, I'm Abigail, a registered dietitian with three years of experience helping people build a healthier relationship with food. I earned my BS in Nutrition Sciences from Baylor University and completed my Dietetic Internship at OU Health Sciences Center. My clinical and hospital work, along with outpatient transplant experience, keeps my practice grounded in science and real life. Outside of work, I love baking, crocheting, weightlifting, sewing, and cross-stitching. As an RD and LD, I bring warmth, curiosity, and practical guidance to our sessions, and I'm especially passionate about hormone health, fertility, postpartum, breastfeeding, and motherhood.

Approach to care

My care philosophy blends evidence-based practice with empathy and partnership. I stay current with research so our plan is scientifically sound, yet I speak in clear, actionable terms. We focus on lasting change and a weight-neutral approach that respects HAES principles, because sustainable health comes from habits that fit your life, not from quick diets. I support you with education and steady encouragement, so you feel empowered to make informed choices while honoring your body and values. My approach is educational, giving you the knowledge to stay confident and independent. We'll navigate nutrition together, addressing mental, emotional, and physical wellness in a holistic way.

Your first session with Abigail

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and take a deeper look at your relationship with food, routines, and goals. No pressure, no judgments, this is a collaborative conversation. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; we'll explore what's working, what isn't, and what matters most to you. By the end, we'll establish 1 or 2 short-term goals to guide our next steps and make starting easy and doable.
