About Abigail
Abigail is a registered dietitian and certified personal trainer who combines her love of food with her knowledge of nutrition and physical performance to help her clients reach their health goals. Abigail specializes in disordered eating patterns, eating disorders, sports nutrition, and general health conditions to help her clients heal their relationship with food. Abigail's mission is to help people understand that there is no one right way for nutrition: each person has their own history, their own story, and their own goals. Abigail has helped hundreds of individuals achieve their nutrition-focused physical performance goals and find food freedom, and she is ready to help you too!
Approach to care
Abigail strives to make sure all of her clients feel completely supported in and outside of sessions. She combines evidenced-based research with a collaborative care approach to tailor specific goals for each of her clients. She works hand-in-hand with each person, compassionately giving encouragement and education through every stage of their health journey and their life. Abigail recognizes that seeing a dietitian can be overwhelming for people who might struggle with disordered eating or eating disorders, so she incorporates her experience working with licensed therapists to use therapeutic modalities to create a safe environment for all of her clients.
Your first session with Abigail
Beginning a collaborative partnership with Abigail, you can expect her to listen to your story, learn about your previous experiences, and hear about your current struggles. The initial session serves as the foundation for Abigail to pinpoint nutritional areas of focus that you and her can prioritize in the first few sessions.
