About Abigail
Hey! I'm Abbey, a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer with a passion for disease management in a variety of areas with a speciality certification in diabetes (type 1, type 2, and gestational) with clinical experience in GLP-1 medical management. In addition I have a strong desire for overall health and well-being. my experience as a dietitian for the past 5 years has granted me knowledge in areas such as liver disease, heart disease, digestive health, and PCOS. My background in exercise physiology and experience as a dietitian works well in combining diet and exercise for anyone looking for performance nutrition advice. Overall, my goal is to improve quality of life while also tacking disease management and weight loss.
Approach to care
I believes there is not a "one size fits all" method for health and well-being. I like to tailor my approach to fit the specific goals and needs of my clients on an individual level. I work collaboratively with my clients to overcome barriers and deliver the best approach to meet goals. Some ways I accomplish this is through collaborative grocery store lists, meal plans if needed, and food logging. At the end of this journey I want you to feel like you have the tools to independently make healthy food choices on your own. I do not want her you to feel overwhelmed and I am flexible with making adjustments when needed.
