About Abraham
Hi, I'm Abraham, but you can call me Abe! I'm a Registered Dietitian based in Seattle but originally from Miami, FL. I earned my MS in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University and I also have a BFA in Dance from New World School of the Arts. My work spans clinical and hospital settings, private practice, and sports nutrition, which gives me a balanced view of health, recovery, and performance. Before becoming a dietitian, I spent years as a professional dancer, and my passion for movement naturally evolved into a passion for nutrition. Outside of work, I love Olympic weightlifting, hiking, reading, dancing, and playing video games. I aim to help you build practical, sustainable changes that fit your life.
Approach to care
To me, care means meeting you where you are and growing from there. I base our plan on current research and proven approaches while honoring your lived experience. We'll work together with clear, doable steps, accountability, and ongoing learning. I practice from a Health At Every Size lens, meaning we focus on behaviors and overall well being. My approach is holistic and educational, addressing nutrition, sleep, stress, and your unique values so change lasts.
Your first session with Abraham
Your first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and medications, then take a deep dive into your relationship with food and your daily routines. You don't need to have it all figured out yet; this is a low pressure, nonjudgmental conversation. Together we'll set 1 or 2 short term goals to start and map out how we'll stay connected between visits. Think of it as a friendly, collaborative chat that helps us create a practical path forward.
