About Aida
As a former professional chef, my approach to healthy eating is one of creativity. I can help improve your eating pattern if you find yourself struggling in the kitchen, whether you have diabetes, want to lose/gain weight, or want to learn healthful tips or tricks. I have experience working with older adults, as well as with folks who have a recent diabetes diagnosis.
Approach to care
Together, we can come up with a plan to help you feel confident in your food choices. I will prioritize your specific cultural or religious needs to help you achieve optimal health through nutrition. Eating right should never feel like a burden and guilt should never be attached to food.
Your first session with Aida
After we get to know a little about each other, we will start by discussing any concerns you have related to nutrition. We will then identify any barriers to eating well. Lastly, we'll come up with micro-goals (which will lead to your larger goal) to work on until our next session. We will continue to add goals, as you feel ready, during our next 11 sessions!
