About Aidan
Hi, I’m Aidan! I’m a Registered Dietitian who focuses on helping people feel more confident and balanced with food. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Auburn University, completed a Master’s in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition at University College London, and a PhD in Nutrition also from Auburn University. My background in research and teaching keeps me grounded in evidence, but what matters most to me is helping you make nutrition work in your real life. No extremes, no guilt — just practical strategies that fit your goals and lifestyle. I’m especially passionate about sustainable weight loss, improving energy, supporting mental well-being, and building a healthier relationship with food. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me lifting weights, running, cooking something new, or walking my dog Lucca! I’m excited to support you and work together toward lasting change.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is rooted in evidence-based practice, empathy, and empowerment. I believe nutrition should support your life — not control it. Together, we’ll translate current science into practical, sustainable habits that fit your routine, preferences, and goals. I practice with warmth and without judgment, meeting you where you are. I take a weight-inclusive, health-focused approach that prioritizes long-term behavior change over quick fixes. By addressing the whole person — including mental, emotional, and physical health — I aim to help you build confidence, consistency, and lasting results.
Your first session with Aidan
Your first session is a supportive, judgment-free conversation designed to understand you as a whole person. We’ll explore your health history, lifestyle, eating patterns, and your relationship with food. This helps me see the full picture — not just the symptoms. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Together, we’ll identify a few meaningful, realistic goals to get started. I’ll also explain how we’ll track progress, adjust your plan over time, and what ongoing support will look like. Most importantly, we’ll move at your pace. This is a collaborative process, and your plan will be built to fit your life — not the other way around.
