About Aishwarya

I’m Aishwarya Jaishankar, a Registered Dietitian with a rich global background in clinical nutrition, wellness, and long-term care, shaped by years of professional practice across the U.S. and India. My experience spans medical nutrition therapy, complex inpatient care, wound healing support, diabetes and chronic disease management, enteral feeding, and culturally diverse nutrition counseling. Having worked in hospitals, long-term care centers, community wellness programs, and multicultural populations, I’ve learned that food is not just fuel — it's personal, emotional, and deeply tied to every patient’s story. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and help you build a nourishing lifestyle that truly works in your real life.

Approach to care

My style is warm, practical, and highly personalized. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all plans or restrictive diets. Instead, I combine evidence-based clinical nutrition with realistic strategies that fit your culture, family, schedule, and preferences. Because of my global exposure, I’m especially mindful of traditional eating patterns, cultural foods, and unique lifestyles — and I work with your plate, not against it. I focus on empowerment, behavior change, and sustainable habits, using motivational interviewing, education, and a collaborative approach so you feel supported rather than overwhelmed. Whether we’re managing a medical condition or improving overall wellness, I want you to feel seen, heard, and guided every step of the way.

Your first session with Aishwarya

Your first session is all about you. We’ll talk about your health history, current concerns, goals, daily routines, cultural food habits, and what you’ve tried in the past. I’ll help you identify what’s working, what’s not, and what’s realistically achievable right now. Together, we’ll create an initial nutrition plan that feels doable — no judgment, no pressure, just clarity. You’ll leave the session with specific next steps, personalized recommendations, and a plan tailored to your lifestyle. My goal is for you to walk away feeling encouraged, confident, and ready to make meaningful progress.
