About Alea
Alea has always had a passion for health and fitness, participating in competitive sports for most of her life. She found that she loved inspiring and helping people make healthy changes. Alea started seeing a registered dietitian when she was having her own digestive health issues and realized that she enjoyed learning about and working with food. Alea truly feels that she has found what she was meant to do in becoming a dietitian.
Approach to care
Aleaโs mission is to help clients reach their goals by providing relevant, researched, and individualized nutrition information and behavior counseling. To Alea, every person is unique, and she strives to create a specialized counseling program offering continued support and encouragement. Alea has experience working in the weight loss, digestive health, and sports/fitness nutrition fields. She is also fluent in Spanish and loves to communicate her passion for food, health, and wellness to the Spanish-speaking community.
Your first session with Alea
During your first session, you will be asked a lot of questions as Alea learns about your health history, nutrition history, goals, and more about you as a person and your lifestyle. This will help Alea provide customized nutrition recommendations, as well as help you and Alea begin to create an action plan and goals tailored to your specific needs.
