About Alessandra

Hi! My name is Alessandra and I'm so happy you are here. I completed my undergrad degree and dietetic internship at the University of Texas at Austin and completed my master's degree in nutrition at Texas Woman's University. I have been practicing as a registered dietitian for almost nine years and have spent a lot of that time working with people on sustainable lifestyle changes. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging upside from a lyra/hoop, traveling to new places, experiencing new things, spending time with my friends, family, and dogs and of course, eating! Coffee and books are my love language and I treat them as forms of self-care! A fun fact about me is that I was in marching band in high school and college and I can still play the flute and twirl a flag to this day. If you are interested in a non-diet approach and long term behavioral changes, book a session with me!

Approach to care

Nutrition isn't about rigid rules; it's about fostering a deep connection with your body and building sustainable habits that last a lifetime. I'm passionate about utilizing both intuitive eating and non-diet approaches in coaching sessions in order to help people move away from dieting and weight loss focuses and instead, move toward a place of self-care and nourishment. My expertise extends to areas like GI health, PCOS, diabetes, and heart health, where I combine my research backed knowledge with a compassionate, individualized approach to help clients achieve profound and lasting improvements in their well-being. I'm here to empower you to listen to your body, trust your instincts, and reclaim your health on your own terms.

Your first session with Alessandra

Every session can look different depending on the person, but usually we start by discussing your goals or concerns with your diet, health (chronic conditions), and/or well-being (sleep, stress, exercise, hydration etc.). We may discuss what you eat on a daily basis, sleep quality, exercise habits, water intake and stress/burnout levels and then create a tailored approach to help you be successful. I use motivational interviewing in coaching sessions to give you power over the conversation and ensure we focus on what you want to talk about.
