About Alex

Hey, I’m Alex! I am a registered dietitian passionate about helping people feel comfortable and confident in their bodies by improving their gut health. After being diagnosed with celiac disease, I experienced firsthand how deeply food and digestion affect every aspect of life, especially our physical & mental health. I have worked as a clinical dietitian for the last four years, and gastrointestinal health has by far become my favorite area to work in. I am excited to do more 1-on-1 counseling with Nourish so I can really get to know my clients and help them make sustainable lifestyle changes.

Approach to care

My approach is rooted in curiosity, connection, and collaboration. There are so many factors that influence how we eat and how our bodies respond, and my goal is to help uncover the root causes behind what you’re experiencing. I want you to feel heard and understood throughout our sessions together. You are ultimately the one who knows your body best; I am here to help you interpret what it’s telling you and guide you toward realistic, sustainable changes that will help you feel your best.

Your first session with Alex

During our first session together, I’ll start by asking a few questions to get to know you better. I would love to hear why you want to see a dietitian and what you may be struggling with or want to improve. Then, we’ll dig into the nitty gritty - as part of my nutrition assessment, I’ll ask about your daily eating and lifestyle patterns. I’ll share any helpful knowledge and tips whenever I can. As the session comes to a close, we will work together to develop some attainable goals that will help you pursue a healthier life. We can also discuss how I can best support you moving forward by offering accountability and encouragement throughout your journey.
