About Alex
Hi, I'm Alex. I've been a Registered Dietitian for five years, and I love translating science into realistic steps you can actually stick with. I earned my undergraduate degree at Miami University and completed my dietetic internship at Andrews University, and since then I've worked in clinical hospital settings and private practice. I practice as an LD, RD, and bring a warm, collaborative approach to every session. When I'm not helping clients, you'll find me exploring local foods, lifting weights, practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or hiking the trails around Lebanon.
Approach to care
Care philosophy: I view nutrition care as a partnership, grounded in evidence and shaped by your life. Together, we'll use current science to craft practical steps you can actually follow. I lead with empathy and warmth, meeting you where you are and avoiding judgment. My HAES-aligned, weight-neutral approach centers on sustainable habits and education that empower you to make choices you own. Holistically, we consider sleep, stress, movement, and your priorities so you feel informed, capable, and hopeful about lasting change.
Your first session with Alex
What to expect in your first appointment: Our first session is a low-pressure conversation built just for you. We'll review your medical history, discuss your daily routines and relationship with food, and establish short-term goals. We'll sketch a flexible meal plan tailored to your tastes and schedule. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet; we'll go at your pace and co-create a practical path you can start this week. I’ll support you with clear steps and steady encouragement as we move forward together.
