About Alexa

Hi, I’m Alexa. I’m a Registered Dietitian with seven years of experience, and I hold an MS in Nutrition from Colorado State University, along with the CNSC credential. My clinical and outpatient work spans hospital teams, pediatrics, and NICU settings, always guided by evidence. I bring a culinary lens to nutrition, because I truly believe food is medicine. When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll find me running, taking beach walks, baking sourdough, cooking, or exploring farmers markets. I’m excited to meet you and learn your story.

Approach to care

My care philosophy centers on collaboration, education, and lasting change. I anchor every plan in current science, then translate it into practical steps you can actually follow. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you’re heard and supported as we examine your relationship with food, your beliefs, and your goals. I work from a holistic view of health that includes sleep, stress, and movement. With my culinary background, I bring doable kitchen strategies to help you fuel your body. Together we’ll build sustainable habits that fit your life.

Your first session with Alexa

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, medications, and any recent labs or biometrics, then dive into your relationship with food and your short-term goals. Expect a warm, low-pressure conversation where you don’t need to have everything figured out yet. We’ll talk through what’s worked before, what hasn’t, and what small steps feel doable this week. By the end, we’ll set one or two clear goals and outline a practical plan to start moving forward, together.
