About Alexander
Hi, I’m Alex, a Registered Dietitian with over three years of clinical experience. I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and have always been passionate about health and helping others. During college, I faced my own health challenges, including high blood pressure, gastrointestinal issues, and fatigue. After seeing multiple providers and trying several medications without lasting relief, I began focusing on improving my nutrition. Through intentional, evidence-based dietary changes, I was able to significantly improve my symptoms and discontinue most of my medications. That experience inspired me to become a dietitian. I’m passionate about helping others use sustainable nutrition strategies to prevent and improve chronic disease so they can feel their best and live full, vibrant lives.
Approach to care
I believe that nutrition is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve our health, prevent chronic disease, and enhance quality of life. My approach to care is rooted in the understanding that every individual is unique — biologically, emotionally, and socially — and therefore deserves a personalized, compassionate, and evidence-based plan. I do not believe in quick fixes, extreme restriction, or one-size-fits-all protocols. Instead, I focus on sustainable, realistic strategies that support long-term success. My goal is to help clients build a positive relationship with food while optimizing their metabolic health, energy levels, and overall well-being.
