About Alexandra
Hi! I've been a Registered Dietitian for more than 13 years, and have experience in clinical and outpatient settings. I love to help people of all ages learn about nutrition and gradually work towards a healthier lifestyle. Though I'm comfortable working with adults, I also have a lot of experience in infant and pediatric nutrition. I'm a certified lactation consultant and board certified as a specialist in pediatric nutrition.
Approach to care
I'll meet you where you are, and we can work on your goals in a realistic way. I don't believe in strict diets and I think foods should be tasty and nutritious. I believe in making small changes over time and improving your overall health.
Your first session with Alexandra
In your first session, we'll get to know each other and make sure you're comfortable. Then, we'll talk about your medical and nutrition history. I'll ask questions about how you move your body, your sleep and stress levels, and how you choose the foods you eat. I'll hope to better understand your goals, but it's ok if you're not sure what you'd like to work on yet since we can work on that together over time.
