About Alexandra
Hi, I'm Alexandra! I'm a registered dietitian with an MS and CDN credential, and I’ve developed a patient-centered, evidence-informed practice rooted in empathy and education over the last five years. I earned my bachelor's at the University of Delaware, completed my clinical internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and earned my masters at Stony Brook University. I currently also work at NewYork-Presbyterian's Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital as a pediatric dietitian, where I support children with conditions like cystic fibrosis and eating disorders. In addition to pediatrics, I also have experience with a variety of other patient populations including obstetrics / women's health, oncology, diabetes, and weight management. Outside of work I enjoy doing yoga & Pilates, cooking and trying new recipes, reading thrillers, and tackling the NYT crossword. I’m grateful to bring compassion, curiosity, and practical guidance to our work together.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based practice with a warm, collaborative approach. I believe in meeting you where you are and building a plan that fits your life, not the other way around. We'll focus on sustainable habits, not quick fixes, and I strive to honor your values and body through a weight-neutral, HAES-informed lens. Education is at the heart of what I do, turning complex nutrition science into practical steps you can actually follow. Together we'll develop skills that stick for the long term and support your whole well-being.
Your first session with Alexandra
Our first session is all about you! We'll review your medical history and lab work or biometrics as needed, and I'll explore your relationship with food in a nonjudgmental way. We'll set short-term goals that feel doable and create a simple plan you can start today. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet; think of this as a conversation where we co-create your path forward. If you're a parent bringing a child, I'll support both you and your family with compassionate guidance.
