About Alexandra
I am a board certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD, RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with a passion for helping clients navigate the complex interaction between food, chronic disease, and diet/wellness culture. After shuttling kids to practices, games and activities I can be found enjoying the outdoors, creating in the kitchen, working in my garden, or curled up with my black lab and a good book. I was born in Puerto Rico and have lived in Toronto, Vancouver, San Franciso Bay Area and currently live in Midcoast Maine.
Approach to care
I provide a holistic, whole body approach to my care, integrating nutrition, joyful activity, sleep and stress management. By breaking down change into manageable steps, new sustainable habits are formed. I follow the Health At Every Size (TM) framework.
Your first session with Alexandra
In our first session we will get to know each other, I will ask a serious of questions to get an understanding of your health history and how best I can support your health goals.
