Patient reviews
āIām getting to tools I need to be successful. We really talk it out to get down to facts versus my own misconceptions. I appreciate all of the information I receive from Alexia that is personal to me, and I feel confident in the sustainable plan she is helping me achieve. ā

āAlexandra was exactly what I needed! I highly recommend her services. She listened to my concerns and provided resources to help me accomplish my goals. She is knowledgable about both food and non-food issues that will help you in your journey to eat better and ultimately have a healthier, better life. Honestly, 5 stars aren't enough!ā

āMy experience with her has actually exceeded expectations. She has left me feeling entirely capable of successfully managing my health, my weight, and my behavior. Her emphasis on building my knowledge about food has positioned me to make informed, smart, (and tasty) decisions. Her approach is affirming and non-judgemental; very easy to talk with. I would gladly recommend her to others.ā

About Alexandra
This all started with a heart attack. I didn't know how to eat after having one, especially growing up chubby in diet culture. I went back to school to be an RD, then got certified in culinary nutrition, health coaching, and personal training. I have coached 1000s of people since 2012 - and I absolutely love helping people in this way! Personally, you may find me following a non-diet approach, macros (focused on how to eat, not restrict), and sometimes a combination of both (yes, this is possible!). Also, I believe in science, humor, and delicious food. If you do too, let's talk.
Approach to care
You deserve to be happy and healthy. We don't have to choose, so let's stop wrecking mental health chasing physical health! I will encourage you to throw out your food rules and stop looking for a quick fix. Those plans that worked before... well, they didn't, or you wouldn't be here now, right? I will help you to get real about your goals and choices, to stop getting advice from social, and to focus on simplicity and flexibility. Magic happens with small changes done consistently over time (goodbye overwhelm!). You deserve to enjoy food you love without guilt or shame, tune out the fads and trends, and find peace with food. Are you ready? Let's get started!
Your first session with Alexandra
Expect... (1) Lots of questions. I can't give advice until I know more about you. (2) Info on what to expect. I want you to be comfortable with me and the process. (3) To set one goal. You will probably roll your eyes and think this won't work and you need more to do. Hang with me. In future sessions, we agree on your action plan and you get to work. NOTES: Available Mon-Thurs 9:00-5:00 EST. Not accepting ARFID/OSFED, anorexia, binge-purge disorders.
