About Alexandra
This all started with a heart attack. I didn't know how to eat after having one, especially growing up with extra weight in diet culture. So, I went back to school, became an RD, and got certified in culinary nutrition, health coaching, and personal training. I have coached 1000s of people over 12 years in private practice and worksite wellness. Specialties: heart health, cholesterol, blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, managing weight, and ending the chronic dieting cycle through a non-diet approach, macros (how to eat, not restrict), or plant-based/Mediterranean style diet. Not accepting ARFID/OSFED, anorexia, binge-purge disorders. Available Mon/Tues/Weds 10:00-4:00 ET; Thurs 1:00-4:00 ET.
Approach to care
Core Values: science, humor, and delicious food. I want you to throw out your food rules and stop looking for a quick fix. Those plans that worked in the past... well, they didn't, or you wouldn't be here now, right? Hear this - you don't have to sacrifice your mental health or happiness in pursuit of physical health. You can be both healthy and happy. You don't have to choose just one. I want you to get real with yourself, to stop getting advice from social, and get focused on simplicity and flexibility. The magic happens with small changes done consistently over time. And this is how I will guide you to better health.

Expect lots of questions. For real. I can't give advice until I know more about you. You will also get info about what to expect. This may be a huge step for you, so I want you to be comfortable. And we will find just one thing for you to focus on until we meet again. You will likely think this won't work and you need more. Hang with me. The next session we discuss your action plan and get into the work. So, say good-bye to overwhelm, relying on willpower, and depriving yourself of foods you love. You deserve to enjoy food without guilt or shame, tune out the silly fads and trends, and find peace with food. Are you ready? Let's get started!
