About Alexandra
Hi, I’m Alley! I’m a Registered Dietitian who strives to empower individuals to understand their body, nourish it confidently, and create sustainable habits that support long-term wellbeing. I believe in food as medicine—its power to support healing, restore balance, and help people feel healthy and strong. Nutrition can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. My goal is to simplify it, meet patients where they are, and take a holistic, root-cause approach that considers stress, sleep, movement, and other factors that shape health. My background includes preventive medicine research on dietary supplements and nutrition's role in cardiovascular disease and cancer, as well as clinical experience with diabetes, women’s health, GI conditions, chronic disease, and weight management. Nutrition is deeply individual, and I’m committed to helping you discover what works best for your body so you can feel your best!
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition is patient-centered, evidence-based, and holistic. I meet you where you are and take time to understand all aspects of your life—stress, sleep, routines, preferences, and barriers—to see what’s truly impacting your health and how nutrition fits in. I believe care should be collaborative, supportive, and judgment-free, and I work alongside you to create realistic goals, meal plans, and lifestyle strategies that fit directly into your life. Because nutrition is highly individualized, I focus on understanding your unique needs so that our plan is both achievable and sustainable. My goal is for you to feel understood, engaged, and supported throughout your health journey.
Your first session with Alexandra
Your first session with me is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk through your health and medical history, your current nutrition and lifestyle habits, what motivates you, and the parts of your day-to-day life that shape your relationship with food. I’ll also ask about any challenges or barriers you’re facing so I can truly understand your unique situation. From there, I’ll break down any nutrition topics in a simple, approachable way to help things feel less overwhelming. Together, we’ll start creating realistic goals and a personalized plan that fits directly into your life and feels attainable right away. After this initial session, we’ll have weekly follow-ups to check in, track progress, and refine your plan to ensure it continues to work well for your lifestyle.
