About Alexandra
Between the barn and the clinic, my days are full of hands-on care and problem solving. As a Registered Dietitian, I hold a Masters of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman's University. I completed my Dietetic Internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Before clinical practice I spent a decade managing an equine training facility, so practical routines and homestead life shape how I support people. I’m a mom to four-legged family members, and I find joy in remodeling our home, planning our garden, and learning to can.
Approach to care
Food carries emotion, culture, and daily life. I lean on current research and proven protocols to guide clear and practical steps. Working through a Health At Every Size lens, I focus on behaviors, wellbeing, and sustainable habits rather than weight. Sessions are warm and nonjudgmental, action-oriented, and educational. We'll translate science into realistic practices that fit your life, so changes stick for the long run.
Your first session with Alexandra
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work and medical history. I am very client centered and will work with to determine your current situation, goals, and a path to achieve them. We will work together as a team to set achievable milestones, goals, and metrics on our journey to reach your health objectives. I'll ask questions to tailor guidance to your life and I'm experienced aiding clients with busy lifestyles. We'll leave with clear, achievable next steps we can build on together.

Hobbies
I am a mom of 4 (4 legs only). I have a dog, cat, and two horses. I love to work on our homestead, and play with our animals. My horse barn is my oasis from the world. When I am not caring for my animals, I'm learning how to build things to remodel our home. I am also planning our family garden and looking into canning as well. Running this small farmstead and taking care of the animals is a lot of work, but it brings me so much joy.
