About Alexandra
If anyone understands the complex relationship with food, it's me. My interest in nutrition began as a child and watching how dietary choices directly impacted my mother’s chronic illnesses. I later faced my own struggles with food and body image. While serving as an Army officer, I discovered the power of nutrition to optimize physical performance which led me to pursue a career in dietetics. As a dietitian, I help patients diagnosed with GI disorders, cancer, liver disease, kidney disease, trauma, addiction, and other acute and chronic illnesses. I hold a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Human Nutrition, a combination that pairs the psychological and physiological sides of nutrition. Whether you’re looking to heal your relationship with food, manage a medical condition, or simply feel your best, I’m here to support and empower you every step of the way using science-based, personalized nutrition strategies.
Approach to care
There is not a one-size-fits-all approach to health, so we will work together to develop goals and a path to achieve them. I rely on evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to manage health conditions while understanding your individual goals and personal relationships with food. I also provide support and accountability throughout your health journey.
Your first session with Alexandra
The first session allows me to gather information about you, so that I can tailor your care specifically to you. I need to understand where you are at now with your health and nutrition, how you got there, and where you want to be in order to best support you.
