About Alexis
Hi, Iâm Alexis! Iâm a Registered Dietitian with five years of experience working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Iâm passionate about helping people build trust with their bodies and find more peace and confidence around food without guilt, restriction, or judgment. My approach is grounded in intuitive eating and body respect, but I also recognize that everyoneâs journey and needs are unique. Whether youâre managing a specific health condition, working toward a particular goal, or simply trying to feel more at ease with food, Iâll meet you where you are and weâll find an approach that feels realistic and supportive for you. To me, a healthy relationship with food is one that feels joyful, flexible, and supportive. Food connects us to our communities and our memories and is meant to be enjoyed and to nourish more than just our bodies. I believe learning to honor that connection can open the door to a more balanced and fulfilling way of eating.
Approach to care
You know your body best. My role is to help you tune in, understand its signals, and build confidence in the way you nourish yourself. I take an intuitive eating approach meaning no diet and no judgment, just support in finding what feels good both mentally and physically. Together, weâll nurture a more peaceful relationship with food, guided by gentle nutrition and your bodyâs unique needs.
Your first session with Alexis
Our first session is all about getting to know you. Weâll talk about what brings you to nutrition counseling, your goals, and your experiences with food and body image. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the start. Weâll take time to explore whatâs been working, what hasnât, and where youâd like to go. From there, weâll begin to outline a plan that feels realistic and aligned with your values and something that can grow and adapt as you do.

Education
I earned my Bachelorâs degree in Dietetics from the University of Connecticut (UConn) and completed my dietetic internship in a variety of community and hospital settings, where I gained experience working with adults with diverse nutritional needs and goals.
Hobbies
Outside of work, I value creativity and balance in my own life whether thatâs tackling a new DIY project, spending time with my two Great Pyrenees, or exploring local thrift shops. These moments remind me that nourishment comes in many forms, not just from the food we eat.
