About Alexis
Hi my name is Alexis and am a Registered Dietitian that believes all foods can fit into a balanced diet. Trying to get out of ruts with foods and find enjoyment in the process is my specialty.
Approach to care
I take an inclusive approach looking at all factors involved while focusing on intuitive eating. You will probably hear me say "think about what to add instead of what to take away" many times! We will take a baby steps approach looking at big picture goals vs. getting stuck on the details which can make navigating nutrition changes very overwhelming. I try to keep it easy and fun while looking for creative ways to make it work for you personally. Taking a health first approach is important and I believe you do not have to change your body to be healthy.
Your first session with Alexis
We will take a look at the factors that can impact nutrition by going over a general intake. From here we will long term goals for what a balanced diet and lifestyle looks like. Finally we will set some initial short term baby step goals that you feel great about and then discuss next steps.
