About Ali

As a Registered Dietitian with over five years of experience, I’m passionate about helping individuals build healthy, sustainable habits through practical nutrition guidance. My own confusion about nutrition is what led me to become a Registered Dietitian, and now I love empowering others through sound education and support. I specialize in women’s health (including menopause and PCOS), weight management (lifestyle changes, GLP-1 medications), emotional and stress eating, disordered eating, and meal planning. I’m also expanding my expertise into sports nutrition and fertility. My goal is to help you build confidence in your choices, foster a positive relationship with food, and create lasting habits that fit your unique needs—without stress or confusion. Whether you're navigating a specific health condition or seeking strategies to implement habits that align with your goals, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Approach to care

My approach is warm, collaborative, and science-based. I became a Registered Dietitian because I was confused by conflicting information on the "best approach" to nutrition. Through personal and professional experiences, I’ve learned there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why I tailor strategies to each individual, integrating expertise in metabolic conditions and behavior change for sustainable guidance. I’ll meet you where you are, help you overcome barriers, and celebrate the small wins. I believe your nutrition plan should be livable—not something you need a break from. Instead of focusing on restrictions, I prioritize balance, flexibility, and adding what enhances health. I also consider lifestyle factors like sleep, movement, and stress, knowing that nutrition is just one part of wellness. While staying current with research, I believe clients are the experts in their own bodies—science informs but doesn’t dictate care.

Your first session with Ali

In our first session, we’ll take a deep dive into your health history, lifestyle, and nutrition habits to understand your goals and challenges. I’ll ask about your eating patterns, relationship with food, activity levels, sleep, and any medical concerns. I know meeting with a Dietitian can feel intimidating, but I strive to create an open, supportive, and non-judgmental space. Nutrition isn’t just science—it’s deeply personal. Your unique journey with food, exercise, and health is at the heart of our work. By the end of our session, we’ll have an action plan with small, realistic steps to move toward your goals. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, motivated, and equipped with strategies you can begin implementing right away.
