About Alice
I'm a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of experience working with individuals of all ages who are struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and other emotional or psychological challenges around food. I'm deeply committed to helping clients build a more peaceful, intuitive relationship with food and their bodies. I am a certified Intuitive Eating counselor and was honored to be part of the very first certification cohort led by Elyse Resch and Evelyn Tribole in 2005. In addition, I bring a unique mind-body perspective to my work as a certified Hatha and Kundalini yoga teacher, incorporating yoga and mindfulness practices into my care for over two decades.
Approach to care
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I practice from a non-diet, weight-inclusive lens and utilize principles of Intuitive Eating to support each client’s individual journey. I believe that healing your relationship with food and body is possible—and that it starts with curiosity, not judgment. I draw on mindfulness-based techniques, gentle nutrition, and body attunement practices to help clients connect more deeply with themselves. Whether you're working toward recovery from an eating disorder or navigating long-standing challenges with food, I tailor our work together to your unique needs, goals, and lived experience.
Your first session with Alice
In our first session, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are—with openness and without pressure. We'll talk about what brings you to nutrition counseling, explore your relationship with food and body, and begin identifying goals that feel supportive and achievable. This session is a chance for you to share your story at your own pace. From there, we’ll work together to develop a personalized path forward that honors your needs, builds trust in your body, and moves you toward greater ease and nourishment—physically, emotionally, and mentally.
