Patient reviews
āI cannot recommend Alison highly enough! She has been my nutritionist since July 2025 and has been instrumental in helping me reach my nutrition and overall wellness goals by providing practical tools and information. Allison's support throughout my journey was truly invaluable - she consistently championed my progress and encouraged discipline in a way that felt achievable and motivating rather than restrictive. I am so grateful to Alison and would not be where I am today without her! Xoxoā

āAlison helped me when no one else would. I had been dismissed and ignored ā but she listened, adapted, and treated me with compassion and respect. She created a safe, judgment-free space that honored my needs and gave me real hope. Because of her, I was able to complete my intake and finally feel supported. Her care went beyond clinical ā it was human, thoughtful, and life-changing. Iām deeply grateful. John Huynhā

About Alison
Hi! I'm Alison Kovich, originally from Dayton, Ohio and now happily settled in South Carolina. I started in healthcare working at a nursing home on the memory care unit, where I found my favorite part of the shift was helping those who needed assistance with feeding. I later served families for 4 years through the WIC Program in Miami-Dade Florida, where I developed a deep love for Breastfeeding and Pediatric Nutrition. After navigating a personal battle with tertiary Lyme Disease, I found purpose in supporting others facing complex conditions, especially in regards to IBS, food allergies, and food intolerances. I've counseled Veterans at the Columbia VA for 3 years in areas such as: Diabetes, Heart Disease, GI Health, Kidney Disease, Liver Disease, Nutrition Support and Weight Management. I am also a proud dog mom to Delilah, my sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Approach to care
My approach to care is Holistic, taking into account the unique layers to each individual. We will focus on Nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and establishing healthy behavior changes in a judgement free zone. I use Motivational Interviewing for my counseling style and Medical Nutrition Therapy is rooted in evidence based research.
