About Allan

Hi, I’m Allan. I’m a Registered Dietitian with two years of experience and an MS in Nutrition Science from the University of New Haven. My work has spanned clinical and hospital settings, plus collegiate hospitality and restaurants, where I learned how food decisions show up in daily life. I hold RD and CPT credentials, and I’m committed to turning science into practical, sustainable strategies. I love helping people explore their relationship with food in a kind, nonjudgmental way and find habits that fit their life today.

Approach to care

I believe care should be evidence-based, empathetic, and collaborative. My approach blends current nutrition science with practical steps you can act on, and I guide you with direct, action-oriented plans while staying curious about your unique life and preferences. I practice a weight-neutral, health-at-every-size lens and a holistic view that considers sleep, stress, movement, and relationships with food. Education is central here; I want you to leave each session with clearer knowledge and concrete tools to make choices that fit your life and goals. Together we'll build sustainable wellbeing, not quick fixes.

Your first session with Allan

During our first appointment, we'll create a tailored meal plan together, take a deep dive into your relationship with food, and establish 1 or 2 short-term goals. We'll also review your medical history to understand any factors that should guide your nutrition plan. The session is collaborative and nonjudgmental, and you don't need to arrive with all the answers. I’ll meet you where you are, and we'll map a practical path that supports lasting change and fits your everyday life.
