About Allie
My name is Allie Blestel, and I have been an RD for 3 years. I first became interested in nutrition in high school through sports. I played volleyball and did powerlifting. I always found that I had a passion for cooking and movement. I graduated from LSU with a bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics. I then went on the FSU to complete my masters and Dietetic Internship in exercise physiology sports nutrition.
Approach to care
I practice form a framework of health at every size. I am passionate about helping people break the yo-yo dieting cycle and find peace with food. I would love to assist you in finding a healthy and balanced relationship with food, your body, and exercise. I want to empower you to reject the diet rules and end the over restriction/demonizing of foods. I believe the best way to nourish our bodies is to listen to them. If you find that you have tried every diet out there and are ready to find food and body freedom, we would be a great fit!
Your first session with Allie
First, we will learn a little bit about each other. I would love to have good background knowledge on your food, dieting, and exercise history. We will go over over any medical diagnosis and medial history. I would like to gain a clear understanding of what you are looking for from me as your Dietitian.
