About Allie

Allie is a friendly and approachable registered dietitian who enjoys connecting with clients at any stage of their nutrition journey. She is dedicated to helping them develop a healthy relationship with food in a culture often focused on dieting. Her approach to nutrition is centered around Health at Every Size®, Intuitive Eating, and a non-diet philosophy. Allie is enthusiastic about working with children, teenagers, and adults to guide them in navigating their specific nutrition needs and goals. She has a special interest in areas such as eating disorder recovery, diabetes management, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), family-based therapy, intuitive eating, and addressing hormonal and autoimmune concerns.

Approach to care

My approach is rooted in compassion, connection, and the belief that you are the expert of your own body. I use an anti-diet, weight-inclusive, and trauma-informed lens to support you in healing your relationship with food and finding more peace and trust within yourself. Together, we’ll work to untangle food rules, quiet the noise of diet culture, and help you reconnect with your body’s natural cues for hunger, fullness, and satisfaction. I focus on nourishment—physically, mentally, and emotionally—rather than perfection or restriction. Every session is collaborative and paced to meet you where you are. My hope is that our work together helps you feel more grounded, confident, and free to live a full life beyond food and body concerns

Your first session with Allie

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a supportive, collaborative relationship. Together, we’ll explore what brought you to nutrition counseling, your relationship with food and body, and any goals or challenges you’d like to focus on. I’ll ask questions to better understand your medical history, eating patterns, lifestyle, and current support system—always at your pace and without judgment. This helps me tailor recommendations and care to your unique needs. By the end of our session, we’ll outline next steps and start setting a foundation for ongoing work that feels realistic and compassionate. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your path forward.
