About Allison

Hi friends! My name is Allie and I am a proud graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have been in practice since 2015 with experience in diabetes care, GLP-1 support, and weight management. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and have a passion for research. I value the culture here at Nourish, and cannot wait to walk alongside you on your health journey!

Approach to care

I believe in a whole mind-and-body approach to wellness. I will use a technique called motivational interviewing to identify and establish personalized plans to achieve your goals. I will provide you with the encouragement, tools, and most importantly-accountability to make progress that will last a lifetime!

Your first session with Allison

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and setting clear expectations. I will ask you to paint me a picture of your typical day, discuss any questions or concerns you may have, and find out exactly what you are looking for in your nutrition program. Going forward we will set goals, to-do lists, and specific tasks that will set you up for success.
