About Allison

I am a passionate masters educated, registered and licensed dietitian with a certification in the Low-FODMAP diet and as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. I am currently working at a large Chicago-based children's hospital as well as doing 1:1 nutrition counseling and have worked with a diverse client population of all ages. I especially love working with infants and children, clients who are seeking guidance with GLP-1 medications or have other weight concerns, individuals with IBS, IBD, or other gut health issues, and those in need of diabetic lifestyle management.

Approach to care

I approach nutrition counseling with an open mind and willingness to meet the client where they are at. My goal is to work with you to take small steps toward the client's individual goals. Regarding weight management, I am able to counsel through a non-diet approach while also understanding that weight loss medications or other weight loss interventions can serve a purpose for emotional and physical health.

Your first session with Allison

My clients can expect to walk away from our sessions with individualized nutrition-focused goals, a new understanding of food and how it impacts our body and mind, and a partner in their health journey. My ideal client has a desire to learn more about how nutrition can improve their lives and is open to non-diet focused approaches. I strive to challenge, empower, and work WITH my clients to achieve their personal health goals.
