About Allison
Hello my name is Allison and I began my career as a registered dietitian nutritionist in 2013 after overcoming my own personal struggles with nutrition. Following my own path to improve my health has led me to the path of becoming a dietitian so that I can also help those wanting to improve their own nutritional status. I have worked with many patients with various needs related to chronic illness including diabetes, heart health, high blood pressure, kidney function, gut health, and alternative nutrition for those who cannot eat. With experience in both the hospital setting and outpatient care, I feel passionate about helping others on their nutritional journey.
Approach to care
My approach to care is focused on us getting to know each other in a judge-free environment, and after a comprehensive assessment, we will work together to develop a plan that caters to your dietary needs and goals. I incorporate evidenced-based research within my practice with the purpose of helping you achieve sustainable nutritional habits.
Your first session with Allison
Our first session is a chance for us to get acquainted and review your medical and nutritional background. This allows me to better understand your dietary needs and goals fully. Together, we will explore these goals and begin building a personalized nutrition than that feels realistic and supportive.
