About Allison

Hi, I'm Allison. I bring 13 years as a Registered Dietitian to our conversations about food, health, and everyday life. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics with a minor in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and my Master of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman's University in Houston and have worked across acute care hospitals, inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, and corporate wellness programs. I practice with an evidence-based, direct and action-oriented style, always balancing science with your personal story. I'm also credentialed as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). When I'm not in the clinic, you might find me chasing after my two toddlers, singing/playing guitar, serving at my church, or baking something delicious. I look forward to getting to know you and your goals.

Approach to care

My care philosophy centers on collaboration, compassion, and sustainable change. I rely on current research and proven protocols to guide our plan, but I never forget that you are more than a collection of numbers. We'll work together in a holistic way, considering mental and physical health, lifestyle, and your values. I favor focusing on meaningful behaviors that you can maintain long term. You can expect clear guidance, practical steps, and ongoing education so you feel confident making informed choices for you and your family.

Your first session with Allison

Our first appointment is a warm, judgment-free conversation about you. We'll review your medical history and current routines, explore your relationship with food, and identify 1 or 2 short-term goals that feel doable. I want you to feel comfortable sharing what works and what doesn't, and you don't need to have it all figured out before we meet. We'll set a clear path together and outline practical steps you can start with right away, so you leave with momentum and a sense of partnership.
