About Alyssa
Iâm a weight-inclusive, anti-diet dietitian who specializes in helping individuals heal their relationship with food and their bodies. My work often supports people navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, and chronic under-fuelingâespecially those who identify as athletes or active individuals. I also have experience working with clients managing medical conditions who are tired of receiving nutrition advice that doesnât consider their full life or their goals. Whether you're looking to repair your relationship with food, support your recovery, or fuel your activity in a way that feels sustainable, Iâm here to help.
Approach to care
I bring a compassionate, individualized, and non-judgmental approach to nutrition care. My work is grounded in an anti-diet, weight-inclusive framework and informed by principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size. I take time to understand your full storyâyour values, routines, goals, and barriersâand tailor support accordingly. Together, weâll move away from rigid rules and toward a more flexible, trusting relationship with food and your body.
Your first session with Alyssa
Our first session is really a chance for us to get to know each other! Iâll ask questions to learn more about your relationship with food, your body, and movement, and weâll talk through whatâs been going on and what brought you here. Thereâs no need to prepare or have all the answersâweâll go at your pace. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. I also like to make sure you leave that first session with something practical to work on, so you can start moving toward your goals right awayâeven if itâs just one small step.
