About Alyssa
Food has always felt like both a puzzle and a comfort to me, which led me to earn an MHS from Cedar Crest College and practice as an RD and LD. In my two years working across hospital and community health settings I help people who feel overwhelmed by nutrition find control without strict rules or guilt. Outside of work I love traveling, exercising, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends, which keeps my approach practical and grounded in real life.
Approach to care
I blend science and empathy so we can create nutrition plans that actually stick. Grounded in current research, I use clear, actionable steps to guide behavior change while keeping conversations judgement-free and weight-neutral. We'll look at the whole person, not just lab numbers, and I make time to teach you the whys behind recommendations so you feel confident making sustainable choices that fit your life.
Your first session with Alyssa
You don't need to have everything figured out to get started. We'll review your medical history, look over any lab work or biometrics you have, and talk through what feels hard and what already works. From there we'll set short-term, realistic goals together and pick a couple manageable steps to try. The visit is low-pressure and collaborative, and you'll leave with a clear next step and more confidence in your choices.
