About Alyssa
Hi, I’m Alyssa and I’ve been a registered dietitian for the past 15 years. I was drawn to this field after discovering how food can both fuel and heal the body — nutrition is where my inner science geek and foodie happily collide. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals with a wide range of health concerns, with specialized experience in gastrointestinal conditions as well as nutrition for cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship. My passion lies in guiding others toward healthy, lasting habits and a truly enjoyable experience with food.
Approach to care
Your journey is guided by your own pace, with a relaxed space for casual conversation and as much, or as little, education as you feel ready for. Your story is unique, and your personal experiences play an important role in shaping your relationship with food. Progress is a collaborative process that begins with whatever feels most comfortable for you, allowing goals and plans to shift naturally as your needs and priorities evolve. You choose the starting point, and together we’ll build goals that feel achievable, meaningful, and aligned with your life.
Your first session with Alyssa
Our first session is all about you—your story, your goals, and what motivates you. This is a space for open, judgment-free conversation, where you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll uncover your “why” and create a realistic, supportive plan that helps you feel your best from the inside out—science, snacks, and all.
