About Alyssa

Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I’m a registered dietitian based in Northeastern Pennsylvania. My interest in nutrition started back in high school when I was a cross-country and track athlete looking to boost my performance and take my fueling more seriously. Like many people, I had to work my way through a lot of misinformation and diet culture along the way, but that journey ultimately sparked a deep appreciation for food, nutrition, and the amazing ways the human body works. Today, I’m a full-time outpatient dietitian who’s passionate about educating and empowering others. I love helping people become the healthiest, happiest, and most confident versions of themselves through realistic habits, evidence-based guidance, and a supportive, judgment-free environment.

My approach to care is entirely client-centered because your health journey should reflect you. Together, we’ll build a personalized plan that aligns with your goals, your lifestyle, and what matters most to you. Health is not one-size-fits-all, and nutrition shouldn’t be either. Every client comes with a unique story, and I make sure each plan is just as unique. No cookie-cutter diet plans here. As a no-diet dietitian, I take an intuitive eating approach that prioritizes balance, confidence, and long-term well-being. That means no crash diets, no extreme rules, and no cutting out everything you love. I truly believe all foods can fit into a healthy, enjoyable lifestyle. My recommendations are rooted in evidence-based nutrition that is science-backed, realistic, and designed to support sustainable habits. Your first session with Alyssa

Taking a step toward bettering yourself can feel intimidating, but I want you to know that our sessions are designed to be anything but anxiety provoking. During our first visit, we’ll simply talk about where you are in your health journey, where you’d like to be, and what matters most to you. From there, we’ll build a clear, realistic plan to help you reach those goals one step at a time. We’ll focus on small, sustainable goals that add up to meaningful, long-term change. Feel free to bring your past experiences, ideas, or methods you’re curious about trying. You can show up exactly as you are. This is a completely judgment-free zone, where honesty and openness are always welcome!

Education

I completed my undergraduate studies at Marywood University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics through their DPD program. I also completed my master’s degree in Sports and Human Performance Nutrition, along with my dietetic internship, through Marywood’s MSDI program.

Hobbies

I enjoy running, thrifting, water color painting, binge watching TV series (currently watching Game of Thrones!), and spending time with friends and family!
