About Amanda

Hi, I am Amanda, a bilingual (English/Spanish) registered dietitian and lactation consultant dedicated to helping individuals and families feel confident in their nutrition choices. I specialize in gastroenterology, liver disease, transplant nutrition, diabetes and prenatal/postpartum care, and nutrition support (including TPN, GTube and JTube feeding). I’ve had the privilege of supporting both pediatric and adult patients in large academic hospitals.

Approach to care

My goal is to make nutrition feel less confusing, individualized, and realistic. I stay up to date with the latest research so I can give you clear, trustworthy advice in a world full of conflicting information. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, supported, and never judged. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your life, honors your goals for yourself or your little one, and helps everyone feel their best.

Your first session with Amanda

Our first session focuses on getting to know you. Please bring recent labs, medications, and any notes related to your concerns. I’ll ask about symptoms, eating patterns, and daily routines. We’ll also review expectations—what you can rely on from me and what I’ll need from you. If we’re meeting about your child, recent weight and height measurements are very helpful.
