About Amanda
Amanda has been a Registered Dietitian for 16 years, in that time she covered many different disease states and areas of dietetics. For over the last 10 years she has worked in Outpatient dialysis helping dialysis patients navigate the ins and outs of their renal diet along with other comorbidities such as diabetes, high blood pressure, weight loss, and many others. She is also, a busy working mom and understands not everyone has hours to spend in the kitchen.
Approach to care
Amanda likes to take a holistic approach to care learning all she can about a client's life as a whole person. She takes a motivaitonal interviewing approach with clients so they can feel empowered by the goals they set. She loves problem solving to help clients overcome any barriers to their goals.
Your first session with Amanda
Amanda loves to start the session with getting to know the client and their lifestyle and what brings them to see her. From there we can build a plan to best suit your needs.
