About Amanda
Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m a Registered Dietitian with over 15 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. My background includes hospital inpatient care, nutrition support (with a specialty in enteral and parenteral nutrition), and over seven years of outpatient work in kidney health, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and weight management. I truly understand how busy life can be and how hard it can feel to make yourself a priority. That perspective shapes how I work with clients. I’m especially passionate about helping busy adults and parents build healthier, more peaceful relationships with food for themselves and their families. I will help you choose foods that support your long-term goals, while moving away from patterns that do not. Food is fuel, but it’s also deeply personal and part of our identity. Improving health doesn’t mean losing that connection. I love helping people feel more confident with their food choices.
Approach to care
My counseling style is warm, empathetic, and supportive. I take time to listen, understand your unique goals and challenges, and work with you to create simple, realistic changes that fit your lifestyle. Whether you’re navigating your own health, trying to model better habits for your children, or just looking for clarity in a noisy nutrition world, my goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling encouraged, empowered, and capable.
Your first session with Amanda
You are in the driver's seat. We'll start by getting to know you. I want to learn about your goals, challenges, lifestyle, and what matters most to you. I’ll ask questions to understand your health history, eating habits, and daily routine, but this is also your space to share your story. We’ll focus on small, meaningful steps that make sense for your life. I like to say: Let me digest the science for you, so you can fuel the change. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with clear next steps, encouragement, and the confidence that you don’t have to figure this out alone.

Outside of work, I’m a mom to three awesome kids. I love sewing, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time at the beach. Exploring new foods and sharing meals together as a family is something I truly value. I’m always learning, always in motion, and I hope to travel more in the future.
