About Amanda

Hi, I’m Amanda, a Registered Dietitian with a passion for bringing both science and flavor to the table. My journey in nutrition started in the kitchen—first as a baker and culinary enthusiast—where I learned the art of creating delicious, nourishing food. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings—from clinical nutrition in hospitals to sport performance kitchens fueling Team USA athletes. In each role, I’ve seen firsthand how the right food choices can improve health, boost energy, and transform lives. Now, as an outpatient dietitian, I combine my culinary creativity with evidence-based nutrition care to help clients achieve their goals in a way that’s practical, personalized, and enjoyable. Whether it’s adapting a favorite recipe for a medical condition, building a meal plan that fits a busy lifestyle, or exploring new flavors together, my goal is to make healthy eating approachable, flavorful, and sustainable.

Approach to care

I believe nutrition should be realistic, enjoyable, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. My role is to listen, understand your goals, and provide practical strategies that fit your lifestyle—whether that means adjusting recipes for a health condition, planning meals around a busy schedule, or building confidence in the kitchen. With a background in both clinical nutrition and culinary arts, I combine the science of evidence-based medical nutrition therapy with the creativity of cooking to help you reach your health goals without feeling deprived. I focus on small, sustainable changes that lead to big results over time, supporting you every step of the way. We work together as a team—you bring your knowledge of your body and preferences, and I bring expertise in nutrition and food. Together, we’ll create a plan that’s not just effective, but enjoyable and lasting.

Your first session with Amanda

Your first visit is all about getting to know you—your health history, your lifestyle, and your goals. We’ll start with a thorough nutrition assessment, including: Medical history review – any diagnoses, medications, and lab results relevant to your nutrition. Current eating patterns – what, when, and how you eat on a typical day. Lifestyle factors – your schedule, activity level, sleep, and stress. Personal goals – whether you want to manage a medical condition, improve energy, or explore new eating habits. From there, we’ll work together to create a personalized nutrition plan that is realistic, sustainable, and fits your life. You’ll leave your first session with clear next steps you can start right away, practical tools and resources to support your goals, and a follow-up plan to keep you on track. This is a judgment-free space. My goal is to listen, support, and provide guidance so you feel confident moving forward.
